In a whirlwind of devotion and digital speed, all three nights of BTS’s April 2026 concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea have sold out completely during the ARMY presale—a jaw-dropping feat that has left fans worldwide in awe… and Filipino ARMYs equal parts inspired and anxious.
With over 120,000 seats gone in mere minutes, the sellout wasn’t just fast—it was complete. No partial release. No “some left for general sale.” As fan JeyKey Seven put it:
“There MAY BE NO MORE SEATS AVAILABLE if tickets HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT during PRESALE.”
And yes—the official announcement confirmed it: 3-DAY SOLD OUT COMPLETELY DURING ARMY PRESALE 😢
For many overseas fans, this raised eyebrows—and questions. Annie Benitez wondered aloud:
“Akala ko ba pag pre-sale, e may percentage lang ng tickets ang irerelease, tapos yung rest e sa gen sale ilalabas? Ganyan din kaya dito sa Pinas?”
Good news: Marife Corpuz clarified the difference:
“Actually, sa Pinas po ganyan. Sa Korea, hindi 🙂”
That means when the Manila leg rolls around in March 2027, local organizers (like Live Nation Philippines or PULP) will likely follow the standard practice: only a portion of tickets released during presale, with the bulk held for general sale. So Pinoy ARMYs still have hope!
Still, the Goyang sellout hit hard. Ailyn Toledo shared what many feel:
“Paano na lang kaya dito sa Pinas pag ticket selling na? Parang nasa acceptance stage na agad ako 😭”
And Jerome Bautista captured the bittersweet irony:
“Malayo pa pero parang katapusan na 😅”
The emotional toll is real—but so is the community. While some fans celebrate their success (shoutout to those who snagged tickets for all three days!), others are calling for kindness. As Hazel Hyman reminded everyone:
“How many got tickets to sell on themselves?! [...] If I can afford it, I can do that!” — which I don’t believe is in the spirit of being ARMY, is it?!”
Indeed, true ARMY spirit lies not just in fandom, but in empathy—especially as we approach our own moment in the spotlight.
What This Means for Manila 2027
The Goyang sellout is both a warning and a promise: demand for BTS is stronger than ever. But unlike Korea’s full-presale model, Philippine ticketing practices typically reserve the majority of seats for general sale, giving non-Weverse members a fair shot. Plus, with the Philippine Arena’s massive capacity (over 55,000), there’s real reason to stay hopeful.
Organizers are also expected to implement anti-scalping measures and verified fan systems—just like in past international stops—to keep tickets in the hands of real ARMYs.
So while we mourn with our Korean and global ARMY siblings today, let this be a wake-up call: start saving, check your Weverse membership, and get ready. Because when March 2027 comes, Manila will rise.
